Section 1071:

It is hard to believe that it has already been more than a year since the CFPB issued its Small Business Lending, or Section 1071, Rule.  We’ve learned a lot in that time.  There are plenty of challenges with implementing these requirements.  This includes everything from ensuring all commercial applications are identified to understanding key differences between 1071 and other regulations.  Join us to understand exactly where we’re at with implementing these requirements!

FDIC:

The FDIC released a Final Rule to modernize its signage and advertising requirements back in December 2023.  This was the most significant change since 2006.  Don’t sleep on these changes, as they will likely require some type of action from every FDIC-insured institution in the country.  Written policies and procedures will be required.  There is also a new “official digital sign” that will impact most FDIC-insured institutions.  How will these changes affect you?
